About me
I’m Jules Marell, a 31-year-old passionate hobby photographer based in Sankt Augustin, Germany – though my heart often beats somewhere between the runways of Paris and the quiet moments of everyday life.
My love affair with photography began when I was eight years old. While most kids were running around with toy cars, I was running around with a camera that was almost bigger than me. Spoiler: I haven’t put it down since.
Over the years, my work has been published in several magazines and featured in exhibitions – but what excites me most is not the glossy print, it’s the people in front of my lens. I truly believe there are no “unphotogenic” people. Beauty is not about perfection, it’s about presence. And everyone has that.
My photography is a dialogue between elegance and authenticity, between fashion and intimacy. Sometimes stylish, sometimes raw – but always human.
